Job Description:

Axcis Education is seeking Psychology students or graduates interested in working as teaching assistants with SEND pupils. This role is suitable for those keen on careers in child psychology, social work, or psychotherapy. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, including placements during your course's placement year. The role begins in September 2024 and lasts for the full academic year. As a SEND teaching assistant, you will support pupils requiring 1-1 assistance, collaborate with the SENCO and school staff, and follow lesson plans and behaviour policies. This position provides an excellent opportunity to start your career in education and develop relevant skills, working with a variety of SEND pupils including ASC and SEMH students in mainstream or SEND schools.
