Job summary

GSL Education is recruiting Education/Psychology/Childcare graduates to support students academically and assist class teachers in developing learners. The role covers EYFS to Year 11, including 1:1 support, small group work, classroom teaching, and booster sessions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject and at least 6 months experience in Education or Child Care, with a strong attitude towards safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in an Education or Child Care setting.
• Degree or equivalent in a subject specialism (English, Child Care, Health and Social Care, Psychology, SEN).
• Ideal candidate has prior experience working with children or young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support across year groups.
• Deliver 1:1 support and small group interventions.
• Lead booster sessions and assist with classroom teaching.
• Collaborate with teachers to create a stimulating learning environment.
• Share best practices and support safeguarding and child protection processes.
