Job summary

St Peter’s CofE Primary School in Market Bosworth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs from September 2026.

You will work alongside teachers and support staff to deliver engaging activities, monitor progress, and help children develop academic, social and emotional skills in a nurturing, inclusive environment. This is a one-academic-year temporary role.

Experience with SEND and a collaborative approach are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND and a commitment to inclusion.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
• Strong communication and positive inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to pupils with special educational needs to help them engage with learning activities.
• Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and differentiation of activities.
• Support pupils' social and emotional development in a nurturing learning environment.
