Job Description:

Learning Support Assistant Various hours during the working day of 09:00-16:30 dependent on learner timetables
Term Time, 36 weeks and 37 weeks per year £10,139 - £16,899 per annum (£24,049 pro rata) Burton on Trent, Town Centre Campus

Who are we looking for?

Are you a positive, patient and hardworking team player with excellent communication skills and an adaptable and professional attitude? We are looking someone to join our ALS team supporting the learner in the development of study skills and promoting independence to help ensure maximum learner achievement.

You will be supporting high needs EHCP learners across a range of vocational subjects.

Patience, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour are highly desirable attributes for this role. The post holder will need to be able to travel independently to both sites in Swadlincote and Burton on Trent as stated above.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
