Learning Support Assistant / LSA with experience of working with children with social/communication difficulties in a small group setting, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team is required for a well-established Trust based in Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire.
RECENT GRADUATES CONSIDERED

SALARY: £24,027 per annum FTE / Actual Annual Salary £16,708 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire
JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.15pm, term time only (39 weeks).
START DATE: September 2025
Job Overview
Due to expansion, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant / LSAwith experience of working with children with social/communication difficulties in a small group setting, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
The role of Learning Support Assistant / LSA is a varied one and you will need to be adaptable and flexible there will be opportunities to work within the whole class, teaching small groups and on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils.
As a Learning Support Assistant / LSA you will help to get students involved in the school's social and academic activities, and help them become more independent learners, aiming to boost their achievements.
