Learning Support Assistant required to start September 2025
33.75 hours per week - Essex Pay Band 3 NPS 3-5 (actual salary £18,936 - £19,537)
Fixed Term Contract until31/08/2026
Monday to Friday 08:15 to 15:30 with a half hour unpaid lunch break

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant who is willing to join our fantastic team.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar setting who is capable of giving their knowledge and experience to the children in our school.

The ideal candidate will be expected to:

  • Have experience in a similar setting
  • Have consistently high expectations
  • Support Children by following programmes devised by the school and modify planning to suit the needs of the child/children
  • Liaise with class teacher and keep detailed records of the child's progress towards targets
  • Use their own initiative to support the child in making the best possible progress
  • Be highly positive and supportive
  • Remain calm and flexible, be caring and patient
  • Have a proactive approach to CPD and further professional development
  • Have a good standard of English and Mathematics (minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent)
