About the Role:
Our education recruitment agency is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support students at a well-established Further Education College in Kensington. You will play a key role in helping learners reach their full potential by providing tailored support in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Assist students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to engage fully in lessons.
  • Support teaching staff in delivering inclusive learning activities.
  • Help students develop study skills, literacy, numeracy, and independent learning strategies.
  • Supervise small groups or one-to-one sessions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report observations to teaching staff.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with young adults in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and FE learning environments is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3) or Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential.
