Job summary

HEART Academies Trust is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work at Bedford Academy, supporting students and assisting teachers in delivering the curriculum. The role includes helping plan and prepare resources, and contributing to school policies and student welfare within an inclusive environment.

The position follows school hours with a 30-minute daily break, offering opportunities for CPD and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification is required.
• To complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to development of other support staff, students and school policies and strategies.
• To provide learning support for students, the teacher and the Academy to raise standards of achievement and to support inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, students and school policies and strategies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and assist in planning, resource management and preparation.
