Learning Support Assistant – Level 2

Required : September 2025

Fixed term until 19.12.25 in the first instance with a possible extension based on external funding.

Salary: Band B. Part time, 28.75 hours per week, term time.

The Headteacher and Governors of St Mary Magdalene C of E Primary are seeking to appoint a level 2 Learning Support Assistant to work supporting children in school.

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent English skills (Clear written and spoken English) along with good reading and numeracy skills. Knowledge and experience of effective behaviour management. The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers. The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment is essential. Qualifications including, GCSE in English and Maths (A to C) or equivalent.
