East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking an experienced, caring Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties at Kings Mill School, Driffield. The post is fixed-term and linked to funding, with term-time hours 33.5 per week.
You will join the Learning Support team, may work across departments, and participate in safeguarding and welfare commitments. Shortlisted candidates will undergo disclosures and background checks.

This is a fixed-term position linked to funding allocated for a specific child. The successful candidate will be part of the wider Learning Support team and may provide support across the school as required. The post will remain in place subject to the continuation of the funding arrangement, which is currently confirmed for an initial six-month period and may be extended subject to ongoing funding approval.
Required to start as soon as possible. We are looking for an experienced, caring, hardworking individual who would enjoy working as part of a dedicated team with pupils with specific and profound multiple learning difficulties. Good skills required in team working, an understanding of young people, an ability to assess pupils and a flexible approach to work as some activities are off site.
The successful applicant would be working in one of our secondary classes. Please note that in the future the successful candidate could be required to work in other departments across Kings Mill sites.
