Job summary

St Wilfrid’s C of E Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to support students in the classroom, in small groups or one-to-one. You will liaise with staff to identify student needs and help implement targeted support.

The role requires good numeracy and literacy, strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, and a willingness to work collaboratively within a team. Applicants should have 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and be committed to upholding the academy’s Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
• Be able to work effectively within a team.
• Be able to produce reports in a timely manner and carry out basic administrative tasks.
• Be able to relate to young people and supervise students.
• Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft packages.

PURPOSE

To supportstudents within a classroom, in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. To advise staffon the specific needs of students and how best to use this information totarget appropriate support.

Essential qualifications

• 5good GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
