You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Wallasey. Their school is dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for their students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a temporary full-time basis. Job Description: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN.
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to the teaching team.


Requirements:
