Learning Support Assistant South East London Full Time Immediate Trials

Remedy Education are on the hunt for an amazing Learning Support Assistant to start with us at a fantastic SEN secondary school. This Learning Support Assistant role will require you to deliver the best academic support to pupils in a 1-1 setting.

This is a brand-new state of SEN Secondary school is brimming with passionate educational professionals and we want you as a Learning Support Assistant to showcase your dedicated nurturing personality to work with SEND pupils.

Job Details:

  • Role: Learning Support Assistant
  • Rate: 100 - 120 per day
  • Full Time: Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Long Term
  • School location: Hackney, East London
  • Interview: Paid Trials

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support: Working closely with students to provide individualised assistance, ensuring they have the necessary support to reach their full potential.
  • Assisting with classroom activities: Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment, adapting materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Promoting independence: Encouraging and supporting students to develop independence and confidence in their academic and social skills.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Keeping track of student progress and behaviour and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Utilising your experience with SEND to provide tailored assistance and accommodations as needed.
