Learning Support Assistant
Location: Worksop
Salary: £23,971 FTE (Pro-rata £10,714.68) per annum
Hours: Part time (20 hours per week for 37 weeks worked - Term time plus 1 training week)
Permanent Position start date: Tuesday 26th August 2025

They are looking for Learning Support Assistants to work within their busy Additional Learning Support Team. In this rewarding role, you will provide in and out of class support to assist students with learning difficulties/disabilities to help them achieve their best possible outcomes. This may be supporting with personal care and/or literacy and numeracy.
You will be a key part of the Student Support team, and will assist in the planning, preparation & reviewing of learning in conjunction with relevant curriculum staff, providing feedback and carrying out reviews as appropriate to ensure students are making expected progress and working towards outcomes.
You will have the personal skills to be able to effectively support students, dealing with challenging behaviour when it arises, and helping them to develop their own coping strategies.
In this role you will work closely with members of the Additional Learning Support and Curriculum department teams. You will report directly to the LSA Coordinator and liaise closely with tutors to support learners within the classroom environment.
