Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a supportive sixth form college in Kensington & Chelsea, London. You will assist students across ICT and Art, offering encouragement, pastoral support and practical help to build confidence and engagement.

The role includes supporting Level 3 Art and Level 2 ICT, classroom and individual support, and aiding IT lessons on Mondays. A DBS Update Service certificate is essential, with safeguarding training provided by Protocol

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people aged 16-19.
• Essential: a valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
• All applicants must have relevant qualifications and training.

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive sixth form college in Kensington & Chelsea.

The successful candidate will support students across ICT and Art, providing encouragement, pastoral support and practical assistance.

The role will include:

• Supporting students in Level 3 Art and Level 2 ICT
• Providing classroom and individual student support
• Helping students with their learning, confidence and engagement
• Supporting students who may require additional pastoral support
• Supporting IT lessons on Mondays

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people aged 16-19
• Is patient, approachable and supportive
• Can build positive relationships with students
• Has a positive and flexible approach
• Ideally has an ICT qualification, with some experience or knowledge of Art
• Essential: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
