Job summary

West Hove Infant School in Hove is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with the class teacher and SENCO, supporting children to engage with the curriculum and access learning opportunities tailored to their needs.

The role is part-time (30.83 hours/term time) with a salary pro rata to the full-time equivalent of £28,153–£28,608. Start date ASAP, closing date 6 October 2026; DBS checking applies.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with early years children is essential.
• Experience with additional needs such as autism or ADHD is desirable.
• Willing to undertake training to support medical needs of children.
