Job Description

We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools.

Main Purpose of the Role: To work within a class team under the direction of the class teacher, usually in the classroom to support learning; provide general support to the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom; and support pupils to meet their personal needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working within specialist provision. We offer professional development opportunities and a very supportive team of staff. It also serves as a stepping stone into a teaching career.
