Learning Support Assistant

About the Role

Are you looking to start a rewarding career in education in a part-time role that can fit around your personal life and responsibilities?

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students requiring additional help with their programmes of study across various areas within College. You will create positive relationships with students and assist them in classroom or workshop settings. This includes supporting students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, including emotional, social, behavioural, and mobility needs.

Your work as a Learning Support Assistant will help ensure our students have a rewarding and fulfilling experience at college.

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for candidates with experience working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities, along with effective organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A GCSE (or equivalent) in English at grade C/4 or above is essential.
