AMA Admin is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant - Aspiring Creative Arts Therapist for a specialist school in Maidenhead. You will help pupils with complex needs using art, drama or music to unlock expression. This role is ideal for graduates in Art, Drama or Music who want to pursue Creative Arts Therapy.

The position offers term-time hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:45pm) with a daily pay of £108. Start dates June 2026 and September 2026, with trial days available.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Art, Drama or Music with an interest in Creative Arts Therapy.
• Experience or interest in supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Willingness to use creative approaches to aid communication.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Use art, drama or music-based approaches to promote communication.
• Support emotional regulation through creative activities.
• Follow individual learning and therapy plans with teachers and therapists.
• Contribute to a calm, safe learning environment.
• Assist with personal care where required (training provided).
