Job summary

Falkirk Council are seeking a Support for Learning Assistant to work with Head of Muir Primary School. You will support teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for pupils.

The post covers 29 hours per week and may be split across part-time posts. It is temporary until April 2027. If selected you will be required to gain PVG scheme membership, with the cost met by the preferred candidate.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills are essential.
• Role requires supporting children with mobility needs.
• Able to work as part of a team.

• Provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement.
• Undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children.
