Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Slough. Start date is September 2026, with a full-time, long-term contract and pay of £100-£115 per day.

You will work with pupils to access the curriculum and build confidence across the school day. Ideal candidates include those with LSA/TA/SEN TA background or graduates with relevant child-facing experience, especially if you have SEND-related skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant is advantageous.
• Graduates with relevant experience working with children will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Support pupils with additional learning and SEND needs.
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions when appropriate.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and communication development.
• Help children develop independence and confidence.
• Work closely with teachers and the inclusion team.
