Job summary

Hassocks Infant School is seeking a temporary Learning Support Assistant to work 27.5 hours/week (9.00am–3.00pm), term-time only, starting as soon as possible. The post is Grade 3 (Point 3-4) with lunch duty included. The school day runs 8.50am–3.00pm, and LSAs work 9.00am–3.00pm.

Responsibilities include 1:1/small group support, assisting teachers, and running targeted interventions to aid pupil progress. Visits are encouraged; contact the school for details.

• 1:1 and small group support for individual children (LSA role).
• Experience assisting teachers to deliver quality teaching and learning.
• Support during playtimes and lunchtimes to supervise and assist pupils.
• Run focused interventions for identified children to aid progress.
