Job summary

Felixstowe School in Felixstowe, Suffolk is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The post supports a student with an EHCP and involves 1:1 work, small-group interventions, and personal care responsibilities, with full training provided.

The role is permanent, part-time at 22.5 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with a 8am-4pm pattern (3 days per week). Applicants should be flexible and able to work well within a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in a school setting.
• Ability to follow SENCO directions and work with EHCP students.
• Willingness to provide personal and medical care (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Support a student on an EHCP.
• Lead small group intervention as directed by the SENCO.
• Work on a 1-to-1 basis with students.
• Provide personal and medical care and support for individual students (full training provided).
