LSA – Rhymney

Would you like a job that gives you variety and flexibility? New Directions Education are recruiting for 1-1 Learning Support Assistants to work within Primary Schools in the Rhymney area.

When working as a LSA you play a key role in helping to educate children. You will also play a key role in supporting the class teacher to ensure that the pupils get the maximum benefit form the learning activities that the teacher plans and carries out for them.

It is important to be flexible, creative, have an ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults. We are looking for a candidate who is hardworking, approachable and most of all enjoy working with children.

Ideally we ask for 3 months minimum experience working with children, or have a child based qualification. We do consider candidates who have transferable skills, this means having experience working in social care, coaching or nursing.
