Job summary

Cranford Park CE Primary School in Yateley invites applications for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team. You will support children with additional needs, including SEND, across the primary age range, initially in year one, promoting inclusive, nurturing learning alongside the Class Teacher and SENCO.

We value a positive, inventive and resilient approach, with a willingness to work 1:1 or in small groups to create engaging learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Has some experience of working with children with additional needs, or in primary schools.
• Has problem-solving skills, resilience, is flexible, positive and willing to go ‘over and above’ as part of the team.
• Is inventive and creative, with the enthusiasm and initiative to create fun learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND – physical, academic and/or social/emotional needs.
• 1:1 or small groups work under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCO.
• Full training will be provided for all aspects of this role.

We are an inclusive,nurturing school looking for the right person to join our friendly teamas a Learning Support Assistant, supporting children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will be required to support childrenwith additional SEND – physical, academic and/or social/emotional and althoughinitially in year one, you should be prepared to work throughout the primaryage range. A trusting, positive relationshipwill be essential in ensuring the best progress so the successful candidatewill need anenthusiastic and nurturing approach. You will have high expectations oflearning for both self and others, and passionately believe that every childcan achieve and reach their potential. At times this will include working 1:1 orwith groups or classes of children under the guidance of the Class Teacher andSpecial Educational Needs Coordinator. Full training will be provided for allaspects of this role.We are particularlylooking for someone who:
