Vision for Education is seeking a caring Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school from October 2026. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to individual learning requirements and supporting engagement, confidence and behaviour.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, with patient, positive, and adaptable approach.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND) or similar setting.
• Ability to adapt activities and materials to meet individual learner needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with pupils, parents, and staff.
• Patient, positive, and adaptable approach to diverse classroom scenarios.

Vision for Education is looking for a caring, confident and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school from October 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to pupils who benefit from additional support with their learning and development.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs
• Adapt activities and learning materials to meet individual needs
• Support pupils with their engagement, confidence and behaviour
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Is patient, positive and adaptable
• Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Can confidently support pupils with a range of needs and behaviours
• Is passionate about helping young people reach their potential
• Has previous SEND experience – desirable, but not essential
• Can provide suitable references and complete an Enhanced DBS check
