Job summary

Long-Term Teachers is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join a 2 form entry Primary School in the TA6 area of Somerset. The role focuses on SEN support for a pupil, with involvement in classroom activities and occasional outdoor learning.

Candidates should have experience working with children and SEN experience, with adaptability to meet individual needs and build strong relationships within the school community. Temporary full-time roles, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is required.
• Prior SEN/SEND experience preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with pupils and the wider school community.

Long-Term Teachers, an Education Recruitment Agency, is currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to join a 2 form entry Primary School in the TA6 area of Somerset.

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking candidates with prior SEN experience, someone who can empathise and build relationships with the pupils and wider community.

The Role

These positions are full-time roles starting ASAP until the Summer Holidays to support children who have been identified as needing additional support since September.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled candidate who can provide SEN Support for a singular pupil in the school. The role is predominantly classroom based, but depending on the needs of the pupil, there may be some outdoor learning too.

• Work collaboratively with class teachers to support individual children.
• Assess children's development and report back to the teacher.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs of the pupil you are supporting.
• Have enthusiasm to motivate and inspire all pupils to engage in learning
