Academics Ltd. is recruiting a passionate Learning Support Assistant to help vulnerable students in Watford and surrounding areas. You will work with teachers and specialist staff to provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs and to boost engagement and attainment.

Criminology and Psychology graduates or aspiring teachers are especially encouraged to apply. The role offers term-time hours, supportive consultancy, and the chance to gain valuable classroom experience.

Learning Support Assistant

This Learning Support Assistant role will give you extensive experience within the classroom, working with individuals that need additional support to succeed and is the perfect opportunity if you have aspirations for a career in education and making a positive impact in the lives of students.

This Learning Support Assistant role is an amazing opportunity for Criminology and Psychology Graduates or individuals who are aspiring teachers, looking to gain experience. The role will give you experience working with vulnerable students, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working alongside teachers and specialist staff to support students with special educational needs or students who require additional support to remain focussed in the classroom.

Many of the students being supported face various barriers in life and are more 'at risk' of negative outcomes. You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life.
