Teaching Personnel is seeking flexible Learning Support Assistants to provide ad-hoc supply cover in Wareham across a range of primary, secondary and SEND schools. The role suits those who enjoy variety and flexibility while gaining experience in different school settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in schools or related settings.
• Willingness to obtain/enhance DBS check (Enhanced) for safeguarding.
• Demonstrated ability to support pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs in class and during activities.
• Assist teachers during lessons and with small group work.
• Contribute to positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Working with small groups or individual students
• Assisting teachers during lessons

Applicants must have experience working with children or young people, such as:

• Schools or education roles
• Camp America
• Youth work
• Care work
• Health or medical settings
• Sports coaching

• Minimum availability of 4 days per week
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

Schools are located across Wareham, having access to a car is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
