VENERABLE EDWARD MORGAN CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL – "Learn, believe, achieve together"

26.25hrs per week
Temporary Contract for two terms

The Governors of Venerable Edward Morgan Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit a 1.2 Learning Support 2. The successful candidate will have experience of working with or have transferable skills suitable for supporting children with ALN needs, speech and language needs and specific experience of working with pupils with autism. This is a temporary role initially on a two term's contract starting as soon as possible.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL NEED
  • To have previous experience of such a role.
  • Excellent Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills.
  • Be pro-active.
  • Able to use their initiative in order to adapt provision and learning activities to best reflect the needs of the child.
  • Able to administer intervention programmes both in and out of the classroom.
  • Willing to liaise with parents.
  • Able to work as part of our team.
  • Willing to participate fully in the life of the school.
