Job summary

The Kingsley School in Royal Leamington Spa is seeking a calm, compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our Preparatory School team. The role focuses on providing high-quality support for pupils with SEND, including those with Autism, to nurture learning, social interactions and emotional wellbeing.

You will contribute to a flexible, consistent approach with strong communication and observation skills, helping pupils develop resilience and confidence throughout the school day.

Job description

The Kingsley School is seeking a calm, compassionate and organised Learning Support Assistant to join our Preparatory School team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support for pupils with SEND, including those with Autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of effective strategies to support pupils with SEND. They will be flexible and consistent in their approach, with strong communication and observation skills, enabling them to support pupils' learning, social interactions, emotional regulation and wellbeing.

Hours of Work : 37 hours per week

Weeks per Year : 35.4 weeks per year

Closing date : 12 noon on Friday 4th September 2026
