LSA – Secondary School in Northfleet

We’re looking for a classroom hero (cape optional) to join a brilliant school in Northfleet as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA). If you’ve got a passion for inclusion, a knack for communication, and the patience of a saint, this one’s for you.

Contract: Full time – September start

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) to access learning and thrive
  • Using scaffolding techniques to break down learning into manageable, confidence-boosting steps
  • Championing inclusive practices that celebrate every learner’s unique strengths
  • Building strong, positive communication with students, staff, and parents
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where everyone feels seen and heard

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (bonus points if it’s in a school setting!)
  • Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach
  • A genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning
  • Knowledge of EHCPs and how to support them in practice
  • A team player with a great sense of humour and a heart of gold
