Learning Support Assistant
Part-Time and Full-Time roles available.
Term-Time Only Contract (42 weeks per year)
Fixed-Term Contract until July 2025
Education for Industry Group (EFI): Fashion Retail Academy (FRA) Electra House - London, EC2M 6SE and London College of Beauty Therapy (LCBT) Ramillies House - London, W1F 7LN

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-centric Learning Support Assistants to provide exceptional support to our Further Education students with declared needs. The role works closely alongside students to support their day-to-day learning, in class and out of class, helping to remove any barriers they may face accessing learning and participation.

The Learning Support Assistant's purpose is to ensure all students across the EFI Group make excellent progress both academically and with their social and emotional development. The role will report into the Education for Industry Group division, however will either be based at the Fashion Retail Academy or London College of Beauty Therapy.

About you

  • You will have a commitment to providing excellent customer service and building outstanding rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • You will have a flexible approach and the ability to support the learning and development of students regardless of their starting points.
  • You will have experience of working or supporting young people with special educational needs in an education setting.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills and good written and communication skills.

Salary: £25,886.25 per annum (FTE)
