Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Liverpool (L5 area). You will deliver high-quality learning with focused 1:1 support and general classroom duties, helping pupils across Maths, English and other subjects.

The role requires resilience, a nurturing approach and strong teamwork to support SEMH/SEN needs and enable pupils to thrive in a structured, aspirational environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH / SEN
• Strong communication skills with pupils and staff
• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups across lessons

Responsibilities

• Small groups for Maths and English, supporting Year 2 pupils in the morning and general TA in the afternoons
• Work as a general classroom Teaching Assistant across various subjects for the remainder of the week
• Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils
• Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging learning activities
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
• Differentiate and adapt learning support to meet individual needs

We are seeking a strong academic Learning Support Assistant to join the team and support the delivery of high-quality learning across the school. This role combines focused 1:1 academic support alongside general classroom responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities of Learning Support Assistant:

Small groups for Maths and English, supportingYear 2 pupils in the morning and general TA in the afternoons
