Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work with a student with complex needs in a home-based setting 2 days a week and 3 days at Beauchamp College. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide tailored support and help unlock a student6; potential. You will be part of our dedicated LDD team and will support the Assistant SENDCo in enhancing provision for the student with complex needs. You will collaborate with external agencies and the family to ensure the student receives tailored support to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities
  • Work with a student with complex needs in a home-based setting 2 days per week and 3 days at Beauchamp College.
  • Provide tailored support to unlock the student6; potential and support their academic, social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and the family to ensure continuity of provision.
  • Support the LDD team and assist the Assistant SENDCo in developing and delivering appropriate strategies and interventions.
  • Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards as part of a regulated activity.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Contract Type: Part-time permanent, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:20am to 2:50pm, 38 weeks per year.
  • Salary: Grade 5 points 7 to 8 (Actual £17,066.94 to £17,337.26).
  • The role involves regulated activity and requires enhanced disclosure and a criminal records check (including barred list check).
