About the Role:

Supporting students aged 11-16 across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Working one-to-one and in small groups with pupils who may have additional learning needs, including SEND

Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and student engagement

Helping to adapt learning materials and approaches to meet individual needs

Promoting an inclusive, respectful and encouraging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or support setting

Be patient, empathetic and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Be flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students

Have a proactive approach and be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or through Tradewind)

This role would be particularly well suited to those considering a future career in teaching, psychology, youth work, or special educational needs.
