A specialist school for children with autism is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help promote engagement and learning amongst students. The role involves preparing classrooms, planning creative lessons, and supporting academic and life skills development. Ideal candidates should possess GCSEs in Maths and English and ideally have experience in a Special Educational Needs setting. The position is based in Barton-upon-Humber and offers a supportive work environment.
Barton School is a specialist setting for children and young people with autism, aged 5 to 19. The school is expanding its team and offers a Learning Support Assistant role within Outcomes First Group. Location: Barton-upon-Humber DN18 6DA. Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm. Start: September 2025. UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship. The school is part of Outcomes First Group and focuses on safeguarding, pupil wellbeing, and enabling learning and development.
Options Barton School provides Specialist Education for pupils aged 8-19 years with Autism and associated complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
