LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Are you passionate about supporting children in education and have experience as a Learning Support Assistant?
If you answered yes, this is an excellent opportunity for you!
The role involves collaborating with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis and undertaking associated pastoral and teaching duties to ensure high-quality education.
The successful candidate will:
· Have previous experience in teaching or 1:1 support following planning
· Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils
· Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
· Have effective verbal and written communication skills
· Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
· Contribute to providing a safe, secure learning environment
Specialist areas: SEN/SEMH needs, strong behaviour management techniques

Location: Huddersfield

Duration: Long term, ongoing
Full-time
Pay rate: GBP85 – GBP95 per day
Hours: 8:30AM - 3:30PM

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
