Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Job Type: Long-term, ongoing
Working Pattern: Full-time opportunities available
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to children’s lives?
Do you enjoy helping children learn, develop their confidence and achieve things they may not have thought possible?
Castle Education is working in partnership with 3 specialist schools in the Harrogate area to recruit caring, enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants for long-term, ongoing opportunities.
This is a brilliant opportunity if you are looking for consistent work in one school, regular hours and the chance to become a valued part of a classroom team. These are not simply day to day supply bookings. We are looking for people who want to build relationships with pupils and support them throughout their learning journey.
Our partner schools provide specialist education for children and young people with additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, communication needs and complex needs.
The schools pride themselves on creating welcoming environments where pupils are encouraged to develop at their own pace, build independence and enjoy learning.
We are keen to hear from people who are patient, caring and genuinely enjoy working with children.
You may already be working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Support Worker or in another childcare or care-based role.
Experience supporting children with SEND would be beneficial, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn and the ability to build trusting relationships are equally important.
If you are looking for a role that offers more consistency, purpose and the chance to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check, along with other relevant pre-employment checks. Shortlisted candidates may also be subject to an online search.
