Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming school in Grays to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who can inspire pupils and support their learning across the classroom. The successful LSA will assist the class teacher with activities, help maintain a positive learning environment and provide one-to-one or small group support to aid social, emotional and academic development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or education setting.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide flexible support across the school. The successful LSA will be responsible for supporting pupils with their learning, assisting the class teacher with classroom activities, helping to maintain a purposeful learning environment, providing one-to-one or small group support where required, and supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
