Job summary

Quarry Hill Academy is seeking a learning support assistant who is genuinely motivated to make a positive difference to pupils' lives. The successful candidate will support learning and development in collaboration with teachers and other staff; full training will be provided.

The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, with a salary of £25,349-£26,511 FTE (£19,131-£20,008 actual per annum). Starts 16 November 2026, with safeguarding checks and enhanced DBS prerequisites.

Quarry Hill Academy is looking for a valuable new member to join its team who is genuinely motivated by the desire to make a positive difference to pupils' lives.

We require a passionate and committed learning support assistant: an enthusiastic, calm person who will support pupils' learning and development in collaboration with teachers and other support staff. A willingness to learn, good interpersonal skills and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children are the main attributes required. Full training and support will be given to the successful candidate(s).

32.5 hours per week, term time only. Salary: £25,349 - £26,511 FTE (£19,131 - £20,008 actual per annum). Start date: 16 November 2026.
