Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision in Billingshurst, West Sussex, to support Key Stage 3 students with Social, Communication and/or Language Needs (SCLN).

The role is based in a secondary setting with school-hour shifts, offering temporary and ongoing opportunities. You will be patient, calm and able to build trusting relationships, supporting social and emotional development and adapting to individual needs. Start ASAP with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above preferred.
• Calm, supportive and encouraging manner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent reliability and attendance.
• Experience with children or young people beneficial but not essential.

Learning Support Assistant - Specialist Provision (KS3)

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision in Billingshurst, West Sussex, supporting Key Stage 3 students with Social, Communication and/or Language Needs (SCLN).

Many of the young people attending the provision have transitioned from mainstream primary schools and thrive within a smaller, more nurturing secondary environment where they can receive the individual support needed to succeed both academically and personally.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who:

• Are patient, caring and understanding
• Can build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Are confident supporting social, communication and emotional development
• Can adapt their approach to meet individual needs
• Enjoy helping young people develop confidence and independenceContract Details

Requirements
