Are you a caring, proactive individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, both in the classroom and through tailored interventions.

About The Role

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs
• Assisting class teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and activities
• Supporting children to access the curriculum, develop communication and social skills, and build confidence
• Encouraging participation in classroom and playground activities
• Helping with phonics and early literacy development
• Supporting learning with the use of IT and classroom resources
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children with additional needs (in a school, nursery, or personal capacity)
• A positive, patient and resilient nature
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
• Confident with phonics and IT literacy
• An interest in SEN, education, psychology or child development is highly desirable
• Ideally available full-time, with a view to a long-term role
