Job summary

Langford Budville Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a small, highly inclusive rural school where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive.

You will support teaching to meet diverse needs, including pupils with SEND, and build strong relationships across the school community in a role spanning across key stages with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children within a school, childcare or similar setting.
  • Good understanding of child development and positive behaviour support.
  • Interest in inclusive education and supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support learning both in the classroom and with small group/individual interventions.
  • Calm, nurturing and encouraging approach.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Appreciation of opportunities in a small village school community.

As a Learning SupportAssistant at Langford Budville, you will play a key role in supporting teachingthat meets the needs of all learners.
