Vision for Education is working in partnership with an Independent special educational needs (SEN) school in Cranbrook who are looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.

About the Role:

As an LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges. You’ll work closely with class teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance that helps every child thrive in their learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
  • Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and encourage independence
  • Support with personal care where required (training will be provided)

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
  • A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
