Cottingham High School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support and encourage the school ethos and its objectives, policies and procedures. The role focuses on helping students, including those with special educational needs, within a collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team, applying behaviour strategies and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere through collaboration with teachers and staff.

Competenze

• Experience working constructively as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of different behaviour strategies.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills to support learning of students with SEN.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant you will support and encourage the School’s ethos and its objectives, policies and procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working constructively as part of a team and have a working knowledge of different behaviour strategies. Candidates will also be educated to a good level of education (GCSE at grade C or equivalent on English and Maths), and will be able to demonstrate a range of knowledge and skills which support the learning of students with special educational needs.
