Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Cleethorpes, North Lincolnshire

Are you a committed, caring person with a passion for supporting students in their academic journey?

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support local schools by helping pupils develop academically and assisting class teachers in lesson delivery. Your responsibilities will include creating lesson plans, documenting student progress, and overseeing lesson preparation.

The ideal candidate will be professional, confident, and creative in the classroom. You will help students stay focused, supervise group activities, and ensure a safe and healthy learning environment. A passion for education, the ability to motivate and support students, and creativity, organization, and adaptability to deliver engaging lessons to diverse students are essential qualities.

Responsibilities & Experience

1. Support students individually or in small groups, assisting with their coursework and emphasizing learning objectives.
2. Implement lesson plans collaboratively with teachers to meet each student's specific needs.
3. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance your educational experience.
4. Organize classroom supplies and materials.
5. Possess an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply through GSL Education.

This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful applicants must pass all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.
