ASD/SEN Students Learning Support Assistant

Location: Secondary School,North West London

Daily Rate: £96-110

Job Description:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the school we represent in North West London.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD/SEN.
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Help students develop social and academic skills.
  • Support students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with ASD/SEN students in an educational setting.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields.
