A leading independent school seeks a committed Learning Support Assistant to enhance pupils' educational experiences. Location: Cambridge
Salary: A GBP 19,970 to A GBP 26,736 (pro rata to term time hours: FTE A GBP 25,328 to A GBP 33,910). The actual salary will be based on experience.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, term time only. 8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

The Role
The Perse Prep School seeks a high-calibre Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children in school, enabling them to achieve their full potential. The LSA will work closely with staff and parents to identify and meet children's needs as they progress through the school. The department aims to provide a secure, relaxed learning environment to promote confidence, self-esteem, and independent learning.
Learning support sessions are typically one-on-one but may occasionally involve support for pairs or in-class support. The role includes preparing and delivering sessions and administrative tasks related to learning support.
The LSA will also run small support groups during certain times, including form time and lunchtime.
