Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking caring, reliable Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Carmarthenshire. Roles include 1:1 support, small groups, and classroom assistance, with flexible, short-term or long-term placements.

We offer weekly PAYE pay, access to free CPD and training, easy availability management through our app, dedicated consultant support, and a £100 refer-a-friend bonus. All placements are with UK primary schools.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic; willingness to support children in a classroom setting.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant is not required; transferable skills are welcomed.
• Demonstrates patience, empathy and strong communication with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers during lessons and activities.
• Work 1:1 with individual pupils.
• Support small groups with learning and interventions.
• Encourage pupils to participate and stay engaged.
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines.
